Pelatihan Penerapan Metode Fun Learning Untuk Melatih Kemampuan Berbicara Bahasa Inggris Siswa Bagi Guru-Guru SD Negeri 2 Labuhan Ratu Bandar Lampung

Abstract

This activity aims to improve the teachers’ ability of State Elementary School 2 Labuhan Ratu to be able to compile teaching materials based on the Fun Learning method, then the learning atmosphere is fun so that children are active and happy when learning English. The methods used in this training are lectures, questions and answers, discussions, simulations, and work in pairs or groups. This PKMS activity was carried out on Saturday, May 20 2023. In this activity two stages were carried out, namely: 1) the preparation stage (submitting the activity plan and determining the training time), 2) the implementation stage. This activity was attended by fifteen teachers from SDN 2 Labuhan Ratu Bandar Lampung and assisted by two STKIP PGRI Bandar Lampung students. The results obtained from this activity are increasing teachers' understanding of the application and preparation of teaching materials for learning English using the fun learning method in improving students' English speaking skills.
