Abstract

The importance of implementing Classroom Action Research (CAR) is not only an effort to overcome class problems in supporting professionalism as well as to meet the demands of scientific publications. PTK, sometimes it has not been able to overcome the problems in the classroom due to the implementation has not been in accordance with the rules of scientific work. In addition, the teacher is also still confused in planning PTK until reporting the results of treatment. With this, service activities aim to increase participants' knowledge about the PTK rules from the basic concepts to reporting results. The target of the service activities is the teachers of Bandar Lampung Adiguna High School. The service activity was held on October 22, 2016 and took place at Bandar Lampung Adiguna High School which was attended by 25 participants. From the results of the evaluation, the results and benefits of service activities were obtained including increasing the knowledge of Bandar Lampung Adiguna High School teachers about PTK starting from the basic concept to reporting the results according to the rules. In addition, Adiguna High School teachers can also meet the demands of scientific publications and can overcome problems in the classroom through action research.
