Abstract

The workshop on implementing the independent learning curriculum at Gajah Mada High School in Bandar Lampung aims to provide knowledge to teachers so they have the ability to implement the independent learning curriculum at the high school level, so they can optimize the expected learning and become more competent teachers. This activity was carried out because the independent curriculum was developed as a more flexible curriculum framework, while also focusing on essential material and developing the character and competence of students. This curriculum places more emphasis on the freedom of students, it also makes it easier for teachers to provide learning to students, because teachers should be able to have the power to choose various teaching tools so that learning can be adapted to the learning needs and interests of students. With learning that is expected to facilitate the achievement of learning objectives according to the interests and needs of students. The results of the workshop showed that Gajah Mada High School teachers in Bandar Lampung were able to optimally implement the independent learning curriculum at the high school level.
