Abstract

Mastery of foreign languages ​​is important in the current era of globalization. Language is a means of communication and a means of disseminating information. Learning strategies are activity steps that are selected and used by learners to achieve understanding and objectives of a material. Likewise in learning English, learners or students must have a strategy or method on how to learn language effectively and efficiently. The opportunity for students to speak really needs the support of an English teacher who creates a classroom environment that can communicate in real terms, authentic activities and meaningful assignments can increase the use of spoken language. Media is a means to channel the messages conveyed by the communicator to the communicant. In general, the medium used in communication is language. This Community Service activity is aimed at class X students majoring in tourism at SMKN 4 Bandar Lampung as a provision for language skills that can be used in the scope of tourism.
