Pelatihan Kesantunan Berbahasa Guru Dalam Pembelajaran Membentuk Karakter Anak Di TK Titah Bunda Bandar Lampung

Abstract

The ability of the teacher to speak well and politely is very important to be mastered by a teacher, especially in kindergarten which is included in the category of early childhood. The character of the child can be determined from an early age, therefore everything that is seen, heard by the child will emulate, whether it is positive or negative. Early age is the period of determining the child in forming a person's personality, basic character. The target of the implementation of this service was the teacher of the Titah Bunda Bandar Lampung Kindergarten. This service activity was held on November 20, 2017. The results obtained were (1) the teacher got a theory about the importance of understanding cultural polite speech. (2) Increasing teacher knowledge and understanding of polite speech when interacting with students while in school (3) Mother Titah Kindergarten teacher realizes the importance of polite words that will affect the character development of students. (4) students feel happy to learn by habituating teachers who always speak politely, students feel cared for, loved and always comfortable as long as their teacher.
