Pelatihan Pembelajaran Vocabulary Melalui Strategy Subtitution Pada Siswa-Siswa di SMP Negeri 9 Bandar Lampung

Abstract

In learning English requires skills that must be mastered. These skills include reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. The four skills are inseparable from one another. In mastering English there are various difficulties including difficulty mastering vocabulary, understanding a text, and being ashamed to practice it. So that, in the Community Service (PKM) emphasis was on mastering English vocabulary because they found word from school partners that students of SMP Negeri 9 Bandar Lampung still often had difficulty in learning English, especially in class VII (seven). This community service activity (PKM) provides training to master vocabulary easily. Namely by using the substitution strategy. Where this strategy uses words that are similar in order to be easily understood. The target of the implementation of this community service activity (PKM) is the students of SMPN 9 Bandar Lampung. This dedication activity was held on September 25, 2019 and took place at SMPN 9 Bandar Lampung.
