The purpose of this community service activity was to teach teachers how to create creative writing assessment instruments. It began with planning and preparing materials for the activity. Then, the implementation stage began with presenting material on writing skills and creative writing assessment instruments. After that, an evaluation stage was conducted to determine how well the training participants had mastered the material. The training results show that teachers are able to analyze writing learning competencies (82.50%), explain aspects of creative writing assessment (80.25%), create creative writing assessment grids (78.60%), create writing skill assessment instruments (78.15%), and use assessment descriptors (82.15%).
