Abstract

Writing was introduced since elementary school. However, writing skills will not be achieved properly if there is no action or strategy used in the writing process. Writing problems are so complex, that the story impressions strategy is designed to overcome and make it easier for writers to write what the topic is. The target of the activities carried out at SD Negeri 1 Pelita Bandar Lampung. This activity was held on September 21, 2020, which was attended by 10 teachers in the field of study. This activity not only provides theory but the application of strategies to the writing process by the teachers of SD Negeri 1 Pelita Bandar Lampung. From the results of the evaluation, it was found that the story impressions strategy in learning to write produced good results. From the results of activities and evaluation, the results obtained are; understanding of writing theory and story impressions strategy in learning to write can be said to understand. Furthermore, related to the application of strategies in learning to write. Teachers are able to apply these strategies well when writing based on what they have read or listened to.
