Penyuluhan Tentang Optimalisasi Peran Sejarah Lokal Dalam Pembelajaran IPS Bagi Guru Guru di SMK PGRI 2 Bandar Lampung

Abstract

History is an important lesson in increasing the nationalism of students. In addition, the development of local history must also be optimized in order to increase the understanding of local wisdom of each region. Teachers are required not only to master national history, but also to understand the history of their respective regions. Understanding and the number of historical sites in the area can be studied in history and social studies lessons at the vocational level. Therefore, one solution to improve this is by carrying out community service with the title Counseling on Optimizing the Role of Local History in Social Studies Learning for Teachers at SMK PGRI 2 Bandar Lampung. The target of this community service activity is the teachers at SMK PGRI 2 Bandar Lampung. This service activity was carried out on April 8, 2021 and took place at SMK PGRI 2 Bandar Lampung which was attended by 7 participants. Based on the evaluation, the results and benefits of this service activity include providing knowledge, understanding of local history (Lampung) in history learning and social studies lessons at SMK PGRI 2 Bandar Lampung.
