Pelatihan Penulisan Pantun Berbasis Kearifan Lokal di Madrasah Aliyah Sirajul Ulum Pontianak

Abstract

Poem is a form of poetry in Malay literature. Poem is still often used by the people of Pontianak, West Kalimantan in various activities such as weddings, webinars in an educational environment. Poem is also a moral message that is full of religious, social and cultural values. Through poem without realizing the noble values ​​of a society will be disseminated and passed on to their descendants. Based on this background, it is necessary to conduct training in writing rhymes based on local wisdom. In the workshop activity, the speaker socialized the relationship between rhyme writing and everyday life. The development of a sophisticated era with technology should not let students forget how to write good rhymes. because writing rhymes can shape the character of students. The method of implementing community service activities is in the form of descriptive. This method is used to find out a subject and provide solutions to the dean of teachers regarding the writing of rhymes based on local wisdom. The results of the workshop on writing rhymes based on local wisdom which were held for 2 days at Madrasah Aliyah Sirajul Ulum went well. The percentage of students' rhyme writing training results is 90%, this can be seen from the results of student work during workshop activities.
