Sosialisasi Kajian Gender Dalam Konteks Sejarah Perjuangan Bangsa Indonesia Pada Mahasiswa Tadris IPS IAIN Metro

Abstract

This activity was carried out in a series of commemoration of Kartini Day. Gender problems are often encountered in everyday life, both in the family, community, nation and state. However, many of us are negligent so that the responsibility for gender equality becomes multi-interpretation, giving rise to injustice in life. This multi-interpretation occurs because the community does not understand the boundaries of gender, nature and emancipation. Social Sciences is closely related to gender studies, so the activities carried out for Tadris IPS students are expected to be able to provide understanding and awareness which in turn can provide enlightenment in the community. This service activity uses a socialization method that involves students actively in discussions, questions and answers, and case studies. The result of this service activity is an increase in understanding and awareness of the importance of gender responsibility for students of the Tadris IPS study program as well as an increase in attitude and behavior skills in applying it in family life, society, nation and state, especially in the educational environment. This is evidenced by the increase in the pre-test and post-test scores by 20.5%.
