Local Content, Language, Lampung Culture


This study describes the conditions for implementing the Lampung language as a local content in an effort to preservation of the Lampung language and the efforts to be made. The purpose of this activity is to explain and analyze how the role of the Lampung language as a local content in the effort to preserve the Lampung language and culture at SD Negeri 1 Pelita Bandar Lampung. This stage of activity was passed by introduction (interviews with administrators), preparation of literacy programs, discussions with school principals/deputies about the programs that have been prepared, implementation of discussion activities to analyze the potential of teaching materials, implementation of activities to explain materials and practices, training participants to practice as requested by the team. service, implementation of providing assistance to training participants, and evaluation of activities. The results of the activity show that there is a positive relationship, meaning that the better the Lampung language as a local content learning activities, the more students can speak Lampung language, can write and understand Lampung script, and make students understand better Lampung culture.
