Pembentukan Mental dan Karakter Siswa Melalui Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris di Sekolah pada Siswa SMK YP Serdang Tanjung Bintang Lampung Selatan

Abstract

Mental and character formation of students through learning English in schools at SMK YP Serdang Tanjung Bintang, South Lampung is a community service activity that aims to guide students in forming good character as a student. This activity was carried out on the basis of the emergence of problems that were complained of by guidance and counseling teachers regarding inappropriate student behavior. This service activity is in the form of training given to students by explaining and training the characters that need to be possessed as students with English learning media. The training activities showed the following results: (1) Serdang Education Foundation Vocational School students gained new insights in character building through learning English, (2) Serdang Education Foundation Vocational School students were able to minimize misconduct behavior in the classroom with a guidance and counseling approach so that the creation of classroom situations that can help achieve maximum learning.
