Abstract

Strengthening Local Historical Values in Indonesian Language Learning is a very important thing to explore. Education based on local historical wisdom values in Indonesian Language Learning is education that teaches students to always be attached to the concrete situations they face. Planting local wisdom is important because it is a means for students to better understand and love their culture. However, most teachers still have difficulty in instilling local historical values in Indonesian language learning. One of the efforts to overcome these problems is to strengthen local historical values in Indonesian language learning with the right teachers so that the learning process on local historical values in Indonesian language learning becomes more interesting, creative and innovative. So that students become more active in the teaching and learning process, and their learning outcomes are maximized. With these conditions, the motivation and achievement of students in learning activities are expected to increase. As a solution to increase students' motivation and achievement in learning, one of them is by understanding the material about Strengthening Local Historical Values in Indonesian Language Learning, so that it can improve the quality of learning. From the results of the evaluation, the results and benefits of this service activity include providing knowledge and understanding of the appropriate material for Local Historical Values in Indonesian Language Learning to be used in the learning process. In addition, the participants also received material and assistance guided by the service team.
