Philosophy and mathematics are two fields of knowledge that are rationally related to each other. The study of the philosophy of mathematics is in the form of an ontology study that includes all concrete aspects in mathematics. Examples of mathematical ontologies such as theorems. Mathematical theorems are proved in a logical, structural, and systematic way. In the study of epistemology of mathematics are understandings, judgments, and personal views and assumptions that are acknowledged to be true within the scope, nature, and sources of the field of mathematics. Finally the study of mathematical axiology which studies the use of mathematics in life. How mathematics is used, what can be achieved, and how it affects our everyday lives are all topics that should be explored. This study uses a systematic literature review approach. The role of philosophy in the process of learning mathematics is very important, because in the process of learning mathematics it is necessary to prove theorems logically that can be related to everyday life. With this learning process, mathematical concepts can be understood by students as a whole.
