Relevansi Enam Pilar Pendidikan dalam Menghadapi Tantangan Pembelajaran Digital dan Artificial Intelligence di Sekolah Dasar

The rapid development of digital technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) has brought significant changes to the field of education, including at the elementary school level. The emergence of AI offers various opportunities to enhance the quality of learning; however, it also presents challenges related to digital literacy, ethical use of technology, character development, and students’ adaptability to change. This study aims to analyze the relevance of the Six Pillars of Education in addressing the challenges of digital learning and Artificial Intelligence in elementary schools. The research employed a qualitative approach using a library research method. The data were collected from various sources, including national and international journal articles, books, research reports, and other scientific publications related to the Six Pillars of Education, digital learning, and Artificial Intelligence. Data collection was conducted through documentation studies, while data analysis utilized content analysis techniques involving data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the Six Pillars of Education, namely learning to know, learning to do, learning to be, learning to live together, learning to learn, and learning throughout life, remain highly relevant in addressing the challenges of digital learning and Artificial Intelligence in elementary schools. These pillars contribute to the development of digital literacy, technological skills, character building, social competencies, self-directed learning, and lifelong learning habits. The study also indicates that AI can improve the effectiveness and quality of learning; however, its implementation must be accompanied by the reinforcement of human values, digital ethics, and the role of teachers as learning facilitators. Therefore, integrating the Six Pillars of Education into technology-based learning is an essential strategy for preparing students to become adaptive, ethical, and competent individuals capable of facing the demands of the digital era.
