The method in this study is classroom action research with a collaborative form involving researchers, peers (teachers) and principals.</em> <em>This research was carried out in class VII, semester 2 of SMP Negeri 22 Pesawaran, Gedongtataan District, Pesawaran Regency, for the 2020/2021 academic year with a total of 30 students. The focus of this study is the results of learning English and the effectiveness of the use of letter card props to improve reading fluency.</em> <em>This Classroom Action Research uses two cycles. Each cycle consists of three meetings, each meeting consists of four steps, namely planning, action, observation</em><em>,</em><em> and reflection.</em> <em>The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the fluency of reading students in cycle I and cycle II with SK / KD equal in the good category. Student activity also showed improvement in cycle I and cycle II in the very active category.</em> <em>By looking at the results of the study, it can be concluded that this research is able to answer the purpose of the study, namely the use of letter card displays can improve the fluency of reading and the activeness of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 22 Pesawaran, Gedongtataan District, Pesawaran Regency, for the 2020/2021 academic year. &nbsp;Finally, researchers suggest to all teachers to be creative in presenting learning, especially in using interesting and varied teaching aids and media so that they can bring students in a fun learning process and the complete limit of student learning outcomes can be achieved.</em></p> ER -
