Analisis Aspek Sosial dalam Novel Suti Karya Sapardi Djoko Damono (Suatu Pendekatan Sosiologi Sastra)

Abstract

Social interaction is a major part of human life. In everyday life, every human being carries out a continuous process of interaction. As in a story in a literary work, there are various patterns of social interaction that exist between characters. This process occurs in various domains, be it in the realm of friends, family and society. In these interactions produce various patterns of social behavior. This sociological study of literary works discusses the social interactions between characters in the novel Suti by Sapardi Djoko Damono. To be able to understand the pattern of interaction that occurs between characters, the researcher analyzes using intrinsic and sociological studies of literary works. The method used is descriptive analysis, to describe the facts found in the novel, and then analyzed in order to understand the various processes of interaction between characters. by Sapardi Djoko Damono, describes the pattern of social interaction that exists between characters. This social interaction is not only experienced by Suti as the main character, but also other characters. The pattern of social interaction found in Suti's novel consists of cooperation, competition, and conflict.
