Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model based on the local wisdom Basemah media on student learning outcomes in the literary history course for students of the Indonesian Language Study Program, Indonesian Language Education Study Program, FKIP University, PGRI Palembang. using the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model based on local wisdom Basemah media. This type of research uses a quasi-experimental method that uses two classes of research samples with a control group design. The technique of analyzing student learning outcomes data is using t-test statistical analysis. The results of the study showed that the posttest value of the experimental and control classes obtained the value of t count = 4.841 which was greater than t table = 1.679 (t count > t table). Based on these results, it can be concluded that the hypothesis testing criteria if t_hitung t_tabel means H_a is rejected H_o is accepted but t_hitung t_table then H_a is accepted and H_o is rejected, meaning that the CTL learning model based on local wisdom media Basemah affects the learning outcomes of literary history in semester 2 students.
