Pelatihan Pembelajaran Menulis Melalui Teknik Round Table Bagi Guru-Guru Bahasa Inggris di SMK PGRI 2 Bandar Lampung

Abstract

In learning English, there are four skills that must be mastered by students, one of them is writing skills. This skill is still considered difficult by students. As a solution to motivate students to learn English writing skills is to provide effective learning techniques. One learning technique that can be used in learning writing skills is the round table technique. This service activity aims to provide knowledge about the technique and its application in learning classes. The target of the implementation of this service activity is the English teachers of SMK PGRI 2 Bandar Lampung. This service activity was held on March 12, 2016 and took place at SMK PGRI 2 Bandar Lampung which was attended by 20 participants. The results and benefits of this service activity included increasing knowledge of round table writing techniques. In addition, the teachers also had the opportunity to use the round table technique directly guided by the service team involving 16 students in the practice.
