Abstract

Learning English through game is very effectively applied in Senior High School students, especially in improving vocabulary mastery.learning English in senior high students tends to be difficult and boring, especially in memorizing the words and their meaning, and how to pronounce the words This activity is to train the teachers in applying card game for the students in SMA Islamiyah as one of teaching techniques in learning English .The use of card game helps the students learn English faster and easie. The purpose of this training is to help students learn English with fun so that the students’interest in learning English is higher than before. This training does not only involve the students but also the English teacher in this school. Therefore,in the long period of time, this training is expected to be good reference in teaching English for the teachers. The method used in this training is the students pronounced the words, then, they made simple sentences from the words written in the cards. Indirectly,students learn to listen, pronounce,memorize and fix their English grammar.
