Peran Guru Sekolah Dasar Dalam Membentuk Karakter Siswa Sebagai Upaya Pencegahan Tiga Dosa Besar Pendidikan di SD Negeri 5 Talang

Abstract

Community service carried out by the PKM team at STKIP PGRI Bandar Lampung. This activity aims to shape students' character as an effort to prevent the three major educational sins regarding bullying, sexual violence and intolerance. The targets for this activity are 35 teachers at SD Negeri 5 Talang. And in the process of forming students' character, efforts to prevent the three major sins in the world of education generally affect the growth and development and psychology of students. Apart from that, this action also influences them in determining the decisions they take to achieve their goals in the future. The service activities were participated in by SD Negeri 5 Talang teachers as well as the TEAM implementing community service. These service activities were carried out using discussion methods, psychoeducation, and direct assistance to SD Negeri 5 Talang teachers. The results of this activity show that 1. The role of teachers is to be a figure who instilling commendable values ​​for students, correcting bad behavior to be correct and explaining what should and should not be done. 2. Elementary school teachers gain experience and knowledge in shaping students' character as an effort to prevent the three major sins.
