Abstract

One of the reasons for the low value of English students is the low mastery of English vocabulary. Based on this background, we propose the workshop activities at SMK Dharma Utama Sidomulyo Lampung Selatan by introducing one technique that can be used to help students improve their English vocabulary, namely tic tac toe game. The target of the implementation of this activity is the teachers of the English language study at SMK Dharma Utama Sidomulyo Lampung Selatan. This activity was held on December 14, 2017 and took place at SMK Dharma Utama Sidomulyo Lampung Selatan, which was attended by 3 teachers in the field of English studies. From the results of the evaluation, the results and benefits of thisĀ  activity were obtained including providing knowledge about teaching English vocabulary to students using tic tac toe game. The teachers are also taught how to choose material that is in accordance with the syllabus and choose a new vocabulary that is in accordance with the material so that students each day get a new vocabulary.
