Abstract

Reading skill especially in reading English texts at this time is still difficult to implement. This can be caused by students' limitations on English vocabulary and grammar knowledge. In addition, the use of effective and efficient learning techniques can also influence students’ learning outcomes. As a solution to motivate students to learn reading is by providing effective learning techniques. One technique to learn reading is repeated reading technique. The purpose of this service is to provide training to English teachers about the repeated reading technique. The target of the implementation of this service activity is the teachers of English language studies at SDN 1 Mataram Pringsewu. This service activity was held on April 12, 2018 and took place at SDN 1 Mataram Pringsewu, which was attended by 24 participants. The result of this service is the increasing knowledge of teachers on the repeated reading technique. In addition, the teachers can also understand the procedure for using the technique
