Pelatihan Penulisan Karya Ilmiah Pada Guru-Guru SMP Negeri 18 Bandar Lampung

Abstract

Professional teachers can be seen from the competence of scientific thinking, creative and innovative. One manifestation of teacher competence can be realized in the form of writing scientific papers. Through research on writing scientific papers, teachers are expected to be able to communicate the results through writing, whether in the form of articles or other published scientific works. In fact, the teacher is still not enthusiastic and still lacking in the field of research and scientific publications. There are several factors causing the main thing is the teacher lacks awareness of the importance of writing, lack of mastery of information technology, not yet understood how to write scientific papers correctly, ranging from determining the topic of problems, systematic techniques of writing scientific papers, processing data to the conclusion. The target of this training activity is the teachers of Bandar Negeri 18 Bandar Lampung junior high school. This training activity was carried out on April 9, 2018, at the Hall of the 18th SMP Negeri Bandar Lampung. This dedication activity obtained results in the form of teacher motivation will be important to write scientific papers, enthusiastic and can gradually write scientific papers correctly.
