Abstract

A letter is a writing communication tool that is unique with all its advantages. Letters can contain information widely at an affordable cost. Based on the findings in the field, many letters written have not followed the rules, language and procedures for writing standard letters, resulting in a misunderstanding between the sender and recipient of the letter. The target of the implementation of this service activity is the employees of the Kelapa Tiga Village, Tanjungkarang District, Bandar Lampung Center. This service activity is held on December 10, 2018. The results obtained are (1) Kelurahan employees gain knowledge about the importance of correct letter writing. (2) Kelurahan employees understand about writing letters in accordance with the provisions of letter writing and type of letter (3) Employees get new experience about how to write the correct official letter. (4) Improve employee understanding of the impact of official letters that do not meet the rules, rules and writing of correct letters. (5) Improve the ability of employees to write letters to succeed in carrying out their work.
