Pemanfaatan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance students' understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI), broaden their knowledge of AI-based platforms for English language learning, and motivate them to learn English through the use of technology. The target audience for this activity is students from SMK Negeri 8 majoring in Office Governance Automation. The methods used in this training are lectures and practical exercises. The lecture method is used to present the training material, while the practical method allows students to use AI-based platforms for English language learning. The outcomes of this activity are: 1) increased understanding of AI and its benefits for learning English, 2) improved understanding of AI-based platforms, the features of these platforms, and their use in learning English, and 3) expanded knowledge for students on how to learn using AI-based platforms.
