Pelatihan Pemanfaatan Teknologi Digital Untuk Meningkatkan Kompetensi Guru Dalam Mengembangkan Media Pembelajaran di SD Negeri 1 Pinang Jaya

Abstract

Advances in science and technology require the development of reliable human resources whose capabilities are in line with the progress of the information and communication technology era. The availability of professional human resources, particularly teachers, is the most crucial asset for improving the quality of human resources, especially in the field of education; therefore, efforts are needed to enhance teachers’ understanding and ability to keep pace with advancements in information technology and utilize digital technology tools in teaching and learning activities at schools. The objective of this community service activity is to assist teachers in creating digital-based learning media and enhancing their knowledge of learning media. The implementation methods used in this initiative include delivering instructional materials, followed by training, mentoring, and independent practice. The outcome of this activity is a 70% increase in community empowerment, thereby helping to develop the expertise and skills of teachers at SDN 1 Pinang Jaya in creating engaging and interactive learning media, as well as enabling them to keep pace with technological advancements in the field of education.
