Abstract

This training is carried out as a form of participation in the problems currently faced by teachers. Teachers have a position as professionals in the formal education pathway who are appointed in accordance with laws and regulations. The recognition of the teacher's position as a professional is proven by an educator certificate. As professionals, teachers are expected to increase their dignity and role as agents of learning. The strategic meaning of teachers also requires the recognition of teachers as a profession. The development and enhancement of competencies is carried out through a system of continuous guidance and professional development of teachers linked to the acquisition of functional position credit. Coaching and professional development of teachers includes fostering pedagogical, personal, social and professional competencies. Meanwhile, career coaching and development includes assignments, promotions, and promotions. Efforts to foster and develop teachers' careers must be in line with their functional positions.
