Pelatihan Pembuatan Media Audio Visual Matematika bagi Guru SD Negeri 4 Kota Karang Bandar Lampung

Abstract

Mathematics is a subject whose content has certain characteristics that distinguish it from other subjects. These characteristics include the abstract, logical, and systematic nature of the material, as well as its use of universal symbols. These characteristics are among the factors that make mathematics difficult for students to understand, particularly elementary school students. To address these challenges, the use of learning media—such as audiovisual materials—is essential to facilitate student learning. The objective of this community service activity is to enhance elementary school teachers’ knowledge of mathematics audiovisual media and their skills in creating such materials. The target participants are elementary school teachers who teach mathematics at SD Negeri 4 Kota Karang, Bandar Lampung. The community service activity was held on Monday, May 11, 2026, in the auditorium of SD Negeri 4 Kota Karang, Bandar Lampung. The results of this community service activity were an improvement in elementary school teachers’ skills in creating audiovisual media, as demonstrated by the audiovisual media produced by the teachers.
