Pemanfaatan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Android di SMP Negeri 27 Bandar Lampung

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has created a shift in habits. No exception in learning in high school. The shift in habits requires creativity both in the process, teaching materials, and the media used. The demands of the times in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 also demand the use of digital technology in learning. Of course this presents various obstacles, such as problems with service partners related to teacher competence in the use of digital technology-based learning media, namely Android. Considering the role of media and the benefits of using Android in learning today, this service activity aims to increase the competence of SMP Negeri 27 Bandar Lampung teachers in the use of Android-based learning media. The service activity was carried out in October 2021 which was attended by 25 participants. The results of the analysis show that this activity is useful in supporting online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMP Negeri 27 Bandar Lampung and increasing teacher competence in utilizing Android-based learning media. In addition, the benefits of other activities are making it easier for students to study remotely and maximizing the benefits of students' androids as learning media.
