Abstract

In writing lessons and re-recording not all students can easily be done by an elementary school student well. The low interest in writing and reading critically influences their learning outcomes, this is of course followed by teacher factors. As a solution to motivate students to learn writing and recording skills by providing learning methods namely mind maps / Mind Mapping. The target of the implementation of this service activity is the teachers in the state primary school 1 Pelita Bandar Lampung. From the results of the evaluation, the results and benefits of this service activity were obtained including providing knowledge about the method of writing and recording with mind maps in the form of an explanation of how the concept of ideas for each important point discussed / written. In addition, the teachers also get the opportunity to use the mind map / mind mapping method in real guided by the service team involving 12 students in the practice.
