Author Guidelines

1. General Information

JELEMA: Journal of Education, Learning, and Multidisciplinary Advancement accepts original research articles, review papers, and best practice reports in the fields of education, teaching, learning, and multidisciplinary studies. Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

2. Manuscript Scope

Submitted manuscripts should be relevant to the following areas:

  • Teacher Professional Education (PPG)
  • Teaching and Learning
  • Instructional Design and Pedagogy
  • Educational Technology
  • Classroom Action Research
  • Curriculum Development
  • Multiliteracy and Language Education
  • Multidisciplinary Educational Studies

3. Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts should be written in English or Bahasa Indonesia and organized as follows:

  • Title (clear, concise, max. 15 words)
  • Author(s) Name and Affiliation
  • Abstract (150–250 words, in English)
  • Keywords (3–5 words/phrases)
  • Introduction
  • Method
  • Results and Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • References

4. Formatting Requirements

  • File format: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx)
  • Font: Times New Roman, size 12
  • Line spacing: 1.5
  • Margin: 2.5 cm on all sides
  • Length: 5,000–8,000 words
  • Use APA Style (7th Edition) for citations and references

5. Tables and Figures

  • Tables and figures must be numbered and titled
  • Use clear, high-resolution images
  • Provide source if adapted from other works

6. Citation and References

  • Use APA 7th Edition
  • Minimum 15 references
  • At least 80% from journal articles (last 5–10 years recommended)

  • All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review
  • Review process typically takes 2–4 weeks
  • Authors may be required to revise based on reviewer feedback

9. Publication Ethics

JELEMA follows strict publication ethics:

  • No plagiarism (similarity check required)
  • No data fabrication or falsification
  • Proper citation of sources
  • Authors must agree to ethical standards before publication

10. Copyright and License

  • Authors retain copyright
  • Articles are published under Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY)
  • Authors grant JELEMA the right of first publication

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
