Abstract

The problem in this study is the results of observations during research X SMA Al
Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung, showing that in class X the even semester of SMA Al Azhar 3 Bandar
Lampung shows that when history learning takes place, there are still many students who have not
been actively involved, they do more activities - activities outside of learning activities, such as;
chatting, joking, disturbing friends and so on. Meanwhile, the learning outcomes or cognitive scores
they get from tests/tests are generally still low, namely the average grade or KKM. In addition, this
learning pattern does not encourage students to be active, think critically, and be able to cooperate
with other students. The solution to this problem is the listening team learning model. The purpose of
this study was to determine the effect of the listening team learning model on the history learning
outcomes of even semester X students of SMA Al Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung in the 2013/2014
academic year.
The method used in this study is an experimental method. This research was conducted on students of
class X even semester of SMA Al Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung in the academic year 2013/2014 totaling
309 students, the sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. The research sample
amounted to 78 consisting of 39 students in class X 2, and X 6 totaling 39 students. Collecting data
using experimental methods and test techniques as the main method, as well as documentation and
literature study as complementary methods.
Data analysis was carried out using the t test formula according to Sudjana, namely:
Based on the t test results obtained thit = 10.37> tdaf for N = 78 at a significant level of 0.5% of 1.67.
Thus, the hypothesis proposed in this study was verified and proved to mean that there was an effect
of the listening team learning model on the history learning outcomes of even semester X students of
SMA Al Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung in the 2013/2014 academic year.
