Abstract: The phenomenon that is happening right now is globalization and free trade which are so fast entering society, especially among students. The influence on the younger generation is very strong in influencing consumer behavior, because the younger generation is a potential market segment. Economic education in the family has an influence on children's consumption behavior because the consumption decisions for a child are usually determined by their parents. Learning provided by teachers to students in schools also has an important role in teaching consumer behavior and improving student achievement. The design of this research is a quantitative approach and is a type of explanatory research. The population in this study were 312 students and a sample of 175 students. This study uses path analysis to see the effect of economic education in the family, economics learning at school on consumption behavior through academic achievement. This study concludes: (1) economic education in the family has no effect on learning achievement, (2) economics learning at school has an effect on learning achievement, (3) learning achievement has no effect on consumption behavior, (4) economic education in the family has an influence on consumption behavior, (5) economics learning at school has an influence on consumption behavior, (6) economic education in the family does not have a direct influence on consumption behavior through learning achievement, (7) economics learning at school does not have a direct influence on behavior consumption through learning achievement.
