PENGARUH PEMERINTAHAN RATU ELIZABETH I DI BIDANG EKONOMI DAN MILITER TERHADAP STABILITAS INGGRIS TAHUN 1558-1603

Abstract

ABSTRACT: The objectives of this study are: (1) To analyze the influence of the government of Queen Elizabeth I in the economic field in creating the stability of the British state in 1558–1603. (2) To analyze the influence of Queen Elizabeth I's government in the military field in creating the stability of the British state in 1558 – 1603. The method used in this study uses the historical method by conducting a literature study. The data collection technique in this study uses heuristic steps and library techniques and the validity of data collection uses internal and external criticism with the analytical steps using interpretation and historiography steps. Queen Elizabeth I's influence in the economic and military fields in creating the stability of the British state is: in the economic field, Queen Elizabeth I is able to monopolize foreign trade, increase domestic production, make trade partnerships profitably control trade by choosing Minister Oliver Cromwel to regulate all activities trading. Meanwhile, in the military, Queen Elizabeth I was able to create a very strong naval fleet to defend her country, led by Sir Francis Drake, who was able to navigate the oceans and look for new colonies.
