Abstract

Learning that uses the Open ended (OE) model is a model that can be used by teachers as intermediaries to deliver lessons that have been planned by the teacher to students so that the learning objectives can be achieved.

The population in this study were all students of class X science and social studies in the odd semester of SMA Negeri 3 Menggala for the academic year 2021/2022 which consisted of 4 classes with a total of 206 students, while the samples taken were class XIPS 1 as the experimental class and class X IPS 2 as the experimental class. control class. To find out student learning outcomes, the writer conducted a multiple choice test.

The problem that is the subject of this research is the low student learning outcomes, learning has never been applied to the Superitem model in the classroom. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using the Open Ended model on the learning outcomes of students in class X Social Sciences in the Odd Semester of SMA Negeri 3 Menggala in the academic year 2021/2022.

Based on hypothesis testing that has been carried out using the thit formula and consulted at tdaf with a significance level of 5%, it shows that thit≥ tdaf means that there is an effect of using the Open Ended Learning Model on student learning outcomes on the material Concept of Human Space and Time in the history subject of class students. X Social Studies Odd Semester SMA Negeri 3 Menggala for the academic year 2021/2022.
