Focus and Scope

International Journal of Language, Humanities, and Education (IJLHE) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal that serves as a platform for global research and scholarly discussions. Published by the Postgraduate Program in Indonesian Language Education, Department of Languages and Arts, STKIP PGRI Bandar Lampung, IJLHE aims to foster cross-disciplinary collaboration and knowledge exchange among researchers, academicians, professionals, and students.

The journal publishes original research articles, theoretical and empirical studies, case studies, literature reviews, book reviews, analytical frameworks, and conceptual models. It emphasizes both qualitative and quantitative research that contributes to advancing understanding and application in the following fields:

  • Linguistics: Including but not limited to sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, applied linguistics, discourse analysis, language acquisition, and language teaching methodologies.
  • Literature: Covering areas such as literary theory, comparative literature, postcolonial literature, gender studies, and literary criticism across various languages and cultural contexts.
  • Humanities and Social Sciences: Encompassing cultural studies, anthropology, archaeology, history, philosophy, sociology, and Islamic law, with a focus on interdisciplinary research and the impact of societal changes on human development.
  • Arts and Education: Exploring artistic expression, education theory and practice, curriculum development, pedagogy, and the integration of digital technology in teaching, with an emphasis on language and humanities education.
  • Interdisciplinary Research: The journal also welcomes innovative studies that bridge multiple fields, fostering the advancement of knowledge across traditional academic boundaries. This includes studies that examine the intersection of language, culture, society, education, and Islamic law in both local and global contexts.

IJLHE aims to publish papers that provide new insights, offer critical analyses, and propose innovative approaches to the challenges and opportunities faced in these diverse fields. Researchers, academicians, professionals, and students are encouraged to submit their work to contribute to the ongoing dialogue in these crucial areas of study.
