Focus and Scope

The International Journal of Language, Humanities, and Education (IJLHE) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal that serves as a platform for global research and scholarly dialogue across disciplines. Published by the Postgraduate Program in Indonesian Language Education, Department of Languages and Arts, STKIP PGRI Bandar Lampung, IJLHE seeks to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among researchers, academics, professionals, and students worldwide.

The journal welcomes original research articles, theoretical and empirical studies, case studies, literature reviews, book reviews, analytical frameworks, and conceptual models. It publishes both qualitative and quantitative research that advances understanding and practice in the following areas:

  1. Linguistics – including, but not limited to, sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, applied linguistics, discourse analysis, language acquisition, and language teaching methodologies.

  2. Literature – covering literary theory, comparative literature, postcolonial literature, gender studies, and literary criticism across languages and cultural contexts.

  3. Humanities and Social Sciences – encompassing cultural studies, anthropology, archaeology, history, philosophy, sociology, and Islamic law, with emphasis on interdisciplinary research and the impact of societal change on human development.

  4. Arts and Education – exploring artistic expression, educational theory and practice, curriculum development, pedagogy, and the integration of digital technology in teaching, particularly in language and humanities education.

  5. Interdisciplinary Research – encouraging innovative studies that connect multiple fields, particularly at the intersections of language, culture, society, education, and Islamic law in both local and global contexts.

IJLHE aims to publish works that provide fresh insights, offer critical analyses, and propose innovative approaches to address the challenges and opportunities within these diverse areas. Researchers, academics, professionals, and students are invited to contribute to this ongoing academic conversation.
