Abstract

This article was written with the aim of providing a method for classical guidance services that is used to improve interpersonal communication. In today's circumstances, interpersonal communication is very important, but many individuals from students do not pay attention to it, interpersonal communication is a communication process that takes place between two or more people which is done face-to-face, where the sender can convey the message directly and the recipient of the message can receive and respond directly. In terms of interpersonal communication, it can also be concluded that it is a communication tool consisting of people who are done face-to-face, which allows each participant to capture the reactions of others directly, both verbally and non-verbally. By using the jigsaw method in classical guidance services, it is expected to provide a new alternative in improving students' interpersonal communication. Jigsaw method is a cooperative learning method by which students study in small groups consisting of four to six people heterogeneously. Where students work together and are mutually dependent in a positive and responsible manner independently. This article will discuss several things, including 1) classical guidance services can improve interpersonal communication, 2) classical guidance services use the jigsaw method in improving interpersonal communication, 3) jigsaw implementation in classical guidance services to improve interpersonal communication.
